Since our establishment in 1973, Smalley House and Garden Plants have become one of the leading and best known suppliers of quality plants to the garden centre trade in the UK and have been meeting the ever-changing needs of the horticultural retail sector since. We originally started out under the name of Roger Smalley Houseplants as at the time Roger started the business he was only supplying houseplants to his initial customer base, 90% of which were florist shops. Since then with the inception of the gardening boom we have continually adapted ourselves to the constantly changing trends, so much so that we now not only stock indoor House Plants but also a vast range of outdoor Garden Plants. Our customer base has also evolved over the years and now 95% of our customer base is Garden Centres with the remaining 5% being split between Florist Shops and Wholesale Markets and catering for this specific sector of the horticultural trade has not just become our business it has become our speciality.

Our plant range is now so substantial that we can now virtually offer a 'complete package deal' to all customers with indoor plants ranging from 6cm 'tots' up to 10meter Specimens, from Flowering plants to Foliage, from Citrus Plants to Cacti & Succulents and from Hanging Plants to Added Value lines. Our outdoor plant range also covers every popular potted sales line you can think of, including Alpines, Autumn Bedding Plants, Hanging Basket Plants, Herbaceous, Herbs, Impulse Plants, Patio Planters, Potted Bulbs, Spring Bedding Plants, Shrubs & Winter Flowering Pansies.
